There's nothing traditional in how I work and there wasn't much traditional about the path that led here.

I spent over two decades as a Sales Trader in financial markets. Environments where performance was visible, pressure was constant, and the gap between what was possible and what was actually happening had an immediate and measurable cost.

From the outside, things looked as they should.

Internally, there were moments where they didn't. Where performance wasn't as available as it could be, and where, eventually, the life I'd built and the person living it didn't feel like quite the same thing. I became quietly serious about understanding why.

Not from theory. From operating in conditions where it mattered, and paying close attention to what was actually happening in the moments where performance was, or wasn't available. That inquiry led further than I expected. Into the psychology of high performance. Into the physiology of how we think and respond under pressure - breath, nervous system, attention. Into the science of flow states and what produces or collapses them. And into something that sits beneath all of these: a quality of consciousness that determines not just what a person can do, but what they can access, and how freely.

A decade of serious meditation practice have shaped both how I understand this and how I work with it. It is a spiritual practice - one that opens access to a level of clarity and consciousness that guides not only my own way of operating but my ability to help others find theirs. These things are not in conflict. In the most exceptional performers, they never have been.

That understanding changed everything. How I worked. How I thought. And, in time, what I chose to do with my career.

What I do now sits at the intersection of things most performance work keeps separate - the psychology of high performance, the physiology of how we think and respond under pressure, and a quality of perception and clarity that comes not from adding more, but from seeing with unusual precision what is already there.

I'm a certified High Flow coach through the Flow Research Collective, an Advanced Instructor in functional breathing through Oxygen Advantage®, and have studied behavioral science and exponential thinking at Singularity University.

These aren't separate disciplines. They're different lenses on the same territory - what it takes for a human being to operate freely, at the highest level, in a way that lasts.

I work with a small number of elite athletes, entrepreneurs, and executives. Most come through referral.

I live in London, spend time in St. Andrews and work with clients internationally.

This work found me, I think.

It's the only thing I've done that feels like play.

The 49Performance Development Programme

A small number of places each year are offered to elite athletes and emerging performers - people whose potential is real and whose access to this level of support would otherwise be limited.

These aren't pro bono relationships. They're reciprocal ones. The athlete brings full commitment, honesty, and presence. I bring the same attention I bring to every client. What passes between us, in both directions, is what makes the work worth doing.

If you're working with a young athlete or emerging performer who you think belongs in this conversation, you're welcome to reach out.
